This multi-disciplinary camp weaves together arts and crafts, science-based activities, basic writing skills, and outdoor games — all anchored around a daily read-aloud story that ties the day's projects together. The story-driven approach sparks imagination while giving kids a satisfying mix of creative, academic, and active play throughout the day. A wonderful fit for younger elementary kids who thrive on hands-on creative exploration in a small, supportive setting.

GreenARTS Camp combines environmental consciousness with hands-on creativity through two signature programs: Trash 2 Treasure, where kids transform recycled materials into art, robots, and puppets using techniques like paper mache and painting, and Sew What?!, where they learn hand-sewing fundamentals to create plushies, zipper bags, and custom designs. Set on the beautiful 28-acre St. Matthew's campus in Pacific Palisades, it builds real maker skills — hand-eye coordination, problem-solving, and craftsmanship — while teaching kids to see beauty in repurposed materials.

A hands-on art camp where kids learn real painting techniques, color theory, composition, and drawing fundamentals through rotating daily themes — from studying featured artists to mixed-media projects, animal illustrations, and abstract acrylic painting. Founded by a former film industry art director, the studio offers step-by-step instructor guidance in small class sizes, and campers showcase their work at monthly student art exhibitions. A great fit for kids who want to develop genuine artistic skills in a creative, supportive setting.

At this internationally acclaimed intimate theater celebrating over 50 years in Santa Monica, kids create and perform original plays and musicals in an immersive all-day workshop setting. Young performers learn acting, ensemble building, stage movement, and auditioning techniques from working professional actors. The emphasis is on collaborative creativity where every child has a role in building an original theatrical work from scratch and performing it.
