Summer Camp Planner provides a public directory, planning guides, and a shared household planner. This page explains what data the product stores and how it is used.
What we collect
- Account details such as name, email address, password hash, and session records.
- Workspace data you create, including children, assignments, shortlist notes, and activity history.
- Invite records, role changes, and collaboration events needed to operate shared workspaces.
- Public feedback submissions you send through the site.
- Basic request metadata used for abuse prevention and service operations.
How we use information
- To authenticate users and keep shared workspaces synchronized.
- To render the public directory and improve listing quality.
- To investigate reported issues, suggested camps, and user feedback.
- To support contextual advertising on public pages.
Advertising
The public site is designed as an ad-supported product. Planner data from private household workspaces is not used to target ads inside the planner experience.
Retention and deletion
Shared workspace records remain until they are removed by the product operators or by future self-service deletion flows. Users can leave a non-owner workspace from within the app today.
